Cancellation policies differ depending on the reservation booked. Some offer 10-day, 3-day, or one-day cancellation, whilst others are prepaid and thus offer none. If in doubt as to your particular reservation’s policy, or if you are looking for an option flexible enough for you, please do not hesitate to contact our reservations department directly at 617-532-5019 for assistance.

No, Hotel Commonwealth does not have a rooftop bar, but we do offer our guests use of our stunning Fenway Terrace, located on our second floor as a bookable private event space year-round.

When not booked for a private event, it is our pleasure to occasionally make the second-floor Fenway Terrace available for our guests to lounge in, and take advantage of our room service dining options.

Yes, the hotel is pleased to offer AAA and AARP members special rates.  Proof of membership required at check-in.

Yes, The hotel offers laundry and dry-cleaning services Monday – Friday. Fees apply.

Yes, Dogs are welcome, limited to one dog per guest room. Our furry friends will each be offered a doggy bowl, treat, and toy upon arrival!  All guests must adhere to our pet policy agreement.  An additional fee of $150 applies.

Hotel Commonwealth is committed to protecting the environment through multiple initiatives including energy and water saving laundry, the use of phosphate and NPE-free detergents, single-stream recycling, and our in-house Clean Earth Clean Air Program. In addition, we have partnered with BioGreen360 to compost all food waste from our kitchen and event services, making zero-waste events at the Hotel Commonwealth a reality.
